We have one rooster left in the barn. He is a Bantam Rooster, which means he will never get very big. He does not let that get him down. He is actually about as big as this picture. Not really, he is little larger but not much. Pretty boy, that rooster. Sunning rooster. Have you ever seen a rooster sun? He is all stretched out in the sunshine coning into the barn. I thought something else was wrong with him when I first saw him.

Clancy and Tux hanging out looking for handouts. Durango looking out the gate watching Lola. Ben enjoying winter grass. This is me enjoying the winter grass also. What is Lola looking at? Ha Ha! Should have known. It looks like our friend Bobby is having to fix the fence that Lola tore up yet again. Happy Trails To You!
The baby chicks have been moved into new digs. Giant tubs instead of cages. They are much warmer and apparently much happier. The count now is 42 baby chickens. The temperatures are dropping. This is one cold Goldie. I've never seen her so poofed out.. . Jekyll is waiting for the heater to come on. She doesn't believe in waiting till the last minute. Happy Trails To You!
Sometimes an old horse just hast to take a nap, or two, or three... We will be posting again real soon. until then, Happy Trails To You!

Taking a quick break from horses to introduce you to Jekyll. She was brought home by Little One, but was not working out as an indoor cat. The Keeper brought her to the barn to live out her days. She appears to fit right in. She camos nicely with the bottom of the windmill. It is hard for a cat to go from a house cat to a barn cat, but Jekyll seems to have found a way to do this successfully. Unlike the other barn cats that live in the barn no matter the weather, Jekyll goes in the garage and has her own heater! I will leave you with that and until next time, Happy Trails To You!
Here is another sign for you... And.... Just had to throw in this one.... Until next time, Happy Trails To You!
This is a picture of the road in and out of their place. This is a picture of where their above ground pool . They assure us it is under there somewhere. There is a pasture out there somewhere. Check this out. This horse is actually walking over the fence!
This is Durango. He looks like a relatively smart horse, right? Wait until you see what he has gone and done. He can actually be quite graceful sometimes. He is a good looking boy, so much so, I let him pose in pictures with me. He has managed to booger up his leg. We have no idea how are why. He just showed up with it this morning. Here are some better pictures of his leg. Little One took these today. She was the lucky one that got to treat him today. He was a bit scampy, but she managed to get it done. Way to go Little One! Until next time, Happy Trails To You!
